Herding Ants

6 p.m. On the road way, there is a small group of black ants. Typically, ants move in a single file based on the scent trail laid by an earlier scout. This group of ants is moving like a herd of cattle. They stay in a clump. One moves forward, it stops, the two behind leap-frog the first, and then the rest move forward.
